Born in Paris, Françoise Clavel studied at the École Nissim de Camondo and works as a costume designer in both theater and film. Among others, she has participated to several movies of Olivier Assayas, in particular “L’eau Froide” and “Irma Vep”. She worked closely with Andrea Breth, for whose productions at the Vienna Burgtheater she designed numerous costumes from 2002 to 2020.
