Martin, professor of philosophy at the university, in full depression, meets in strange circumstances Cecilia, has the origin of the death of an old painter. He will live with this young girl, who oscillates between pure and indifference, a carnal and stormy passion and spite take her place of the old painter. Her former companion becomes a somewhat cruel confidante and the spectator privilegiee of this passion that destroys one has one its certainties.
